Dan has joined our 2026-27 training cohort. He is currently training as a Computer Science teacher. Here is a small snapshot of what Dan has been doing so far:
“I believe I’ve fit into the computing team very well and everyone is keen is bring me along offering guidance and support where necessary. Since starting I’ve successfully completed my first ITaP on behaviour. This involved observing expert colleagues on classroom behaviour management. As part of the ITaP I delivered the first 10 minutes of a lesson where I welcomed students and completed a DO NOW session.
This week I completed my first lesson, teaching Year 8s iteration and loops which I thought went very well, with positives and areas for improvement. Over the next few weeks, I hope to take on more classes and improve on the areas of behaviour management I’m still adapting to.”
