Starting my PGCE in Secondary Computer Science with no previous experience in UK schools and coming from a completely different career background, I was understandably nervous. But from the very beginning, the team at Landau Forte College made me feel welcomed and supported. Even at the interview stage, their kindness and professionalism stood out.
My fortnightly visits to Landau quickly became something I genuinely looked forward to. The environment was warm, energising, and full of encouragement. Tracy, Natalie, and Amrita created a space where I felt safe to reflect, share my challenges, and celebrate progress, always knowing someone was there to listen.
What made the experience even more valuable was the support available outside of those visits. I never had to wait until the next session to ask for help. If I had a question or concern, I could simply reach out by email and they would respond as soon as they could. That consistent and caring communication meant everything to me.
Landau Forte College has truly set the gold standard for teacher training support. I feel incredibly fortunate to have started my teaching journey in such a nurturing and inspiring environment. It has given me a level of confidence I will carry with me throughout my career.
